Meet the Team

Reagan

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving the Southlake and greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. As a wife and mother of three school-aged children, I understand how demanding life can be—and how important it is to have a space where you can pause, reflect, and be supported. I’m especially passionate about walking alongside women, teens, and couples navigating depression, anxiety, and major life transitions such as motherhood, career shifts, or relationship changes.

In my practice, I use a combination of evidence-based therapies tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I’m trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), two approaches that are incredibly effective for managing emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and stress-related disorders.

DBT, in particular, is a powerful tool for clients who struggle with intense emotions, impulsivity, or difficulty in relationships. Originally developed to treat borderline personality disorder, DBT has since been proven helpful for a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and even perfectionism and burnout—issues I see often in high-achieving individuals and families in our community. DBT teaches practical skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. These are life-changing tools for women juggling the demands of motherhood, high-pressure careers, and relationships.

I also integrate CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, as well as Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychoeducation to help clarify goals and spark meaningful change.

I believe that healing begins with a strong, trusting relationship. My style is warm, grounded, and empathetic—whether you’re sitting across from me or joined by my certified therapy dog, Ophelia. Together, we work to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported.

In our sessions, we’ll work together to:

  • Challenge negative or limiting beliefs that keep you stuck

  • Build healthier coping skills and emotional regulation strategies

  • Improve your ability to communicate and connect in relationships

  • Clarify your personal values and align your daily habits accordingly

  • Reclaim a sense of identity and confidence—especially through big transitions in life.

If you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or the emotional weight of a new season in life, I'm here to walk with you toward growth and clarity.

Outside the office, I enjoy estate sale shopping, crafting, and traveling with my family. I’m always on the lookout for a new adventure—and I believe therapy can be one of the most meaningful adventures of all.

Rooted in Greek, Ophelia means “help” or “aid,” which beautifully aligns with the heart of counseling. Offering support, healing, and understanding to those in need.

Ophelia isn’t just a name, she is a presence. Gentle eyes, a soft coat, and a heart tuned to the quiet rhythms of healing. As a therapy dog, Ophelia becomes a living embodiment of compassion. She doesn’t need words to understand emotion, nor does she rush the process of healing. She simply sits, listens, and loves. In her company, anxiety softens, loneliness fades, and the world feels just a little more manageable.

Whether curled up beside a client during a difficult session or greeting someone with a wagging tail and open heart, Ophelia reminds us that healing can be tender, and help can come on four paws. She is more than a companion, she is a co-therapist, a gentle guide, and a source of unconditional support.
